Below are a  couple of photos from haphazardly  wandering  around Adelaide's CBD in late 2024. I was driving through the city  looking for bits of material for the walking Adelaide project.  

The photo below  is the back of an old empty 19th century building in Franklin St which  had been functioning as a car park, for some time.  There were no cars in the parking lot out the back and the  building  looked as if it was due to be demolished.

I didn't do a large format  version. I should have.

Will more  high rise apartments will replace these ruins?   Currently, there is very little in the way of new office building being constructed  in the CBD though there are exceptions, such as  here.iHowever, it's still  all apartment, and it has been that way since Covid. There is a lot of apartment building  happening.
